itsayannaa: To all my babies, ya’ll did good last night and I’m super proud of you all! ♥ 4th place isn’t that bad but still,  I’m proud of you guys and even with this year being my last term for PUSO, I still got you and I still believe that whatever you put your heart and mind to, you can achieve whatever you want. I’m hella proud of you guys and I know that next year, you guys will dominate! I promise I’ll be there to help you guys in whatever way I can next year, I’ll still be here for you guys (: I know this was PUSO’s last big event for this year but don’t worry, we still have our end of the year picnic/bbq/picnic coming in a bit. Congratulations tho guys, 4th out of 9th place, we didn’t get last and we were still top 4, HOLLLAA! Well done PUSO! 1st place in games and 4th place in skit, together that’s still really good! Battle of the Tribes practice TOMORROW 5/11 from 2:15-5:00PM. There will also be a PUSO meeting during lunch in L35. Battle of the Tribes presale tickets are already out so come to the meeting to get your ticket! If you also want a presale ticket for the Pre battle mixer for this Friday, go ahead and go to the PUSO meeting. We only have a limited number of presales for both events so get it ASAP!

Battle of the Tribes practice will be tomorrow 4/27 from 3:10 - 5:10pm. Be aware that there’s a change in location, we will be meeting downstairs BEHIND the L Building facing the softball field. Battle of the Tribes Practice

We will be having our first Battle of the Tribes practice TOMORROW 4/25 at the L Building Circle at 3:15PM. The officers will be discussing skit, practice schedules, and what not. If you have any questions or concerns at all, please contact PUSO club president Ayana. We will also be selling battle shirts for $15!

Battle of the Tribes Shirts

Hey everyone, just a reminder that we will be selling our battle shirts up until battle comes around!

This week it will be sold for 10$, and the weeks after that they will be sold for 15$. Please contact one of the officers if you are interested in one, or come by to the meeting on Wednesdays in Mr. Seal’s room, L35.

FYC Activities

Now that we’re on Spring Break, take the opportunity to go to FYC’s Activities which is TODAY 4/12 in the building at Welch Park in San Jose from 6-8pm. It’s definitely a great way to meet other high school students around and to get in touch with the Filipino Culture roots and more! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE FILIPINO TO GO! Come by and see what FYC has to offer, it’s a great way to start getting familiar before Battle of the Tribes comes. Questions or Concerns? Contact PUSO club president Ayana.

In order to participate in Battle of the Tribes pt 2 (skits/dance) then you MUST have a Battle shirt! We will be selling our shirts for $10 but it will soon increase to $15 so get your shirts ASAP! Come by L35 during lunch when we have our meetings to purchase your shirt! Battle of the Tribes is planned to be on May 13, 2011 so tick tock tick tock! Battle of the Tribes 2011 (Part 1) 1st Place Champions! It’s been 7 years since Milpitas High has won 1st place in FYC’s Battle of the Tribes. After bringing back the Filipino Club in 2009, we have gone from 4th place, to 8th place, back to 1st place. Thanks to all who have supported Club Mabuhay/PUSO the whole way. On Behalf of the PUSO club officers, we’d like to thank ALL who have participated in last night’s event, you guys did GREAT!
