so for the many of y’all that may have missed it, here’s some highlights of what we went over. please take note.

-this year’s Battle of the Tribes will be split into two separate events. the first will be all skits and will take place before the end of december. the second will be all games (double the usual amount) and will take place in late april/early may. venues for each are still to be determined. how does this affect you? the battle planning and prepping process will be less intense as in previous years but will take place all year, so no more slacking off until spring if you want your school to be represented in battle. any questions and/or concerns can be voiced at tuesday night activities.

-to make up for last year’s horrible showing, we’re going to start the year off with more events. tentatively scheduled for the month of september we have two events: the much delayed fyc bike-a-thon and a ccg tournament (either magic or yu-gi-oh, depending on demand). if you’d like to help out or participate, contact your nearest fyc staff or student.

-FYC PCN: tentatively scheduled for January/February. we will start production pretty soon, so if you’re interested in being a part of the cast, please contact an fyc staff member. we are especially looking for people with musical talent, i.e. singers, emcees, instrumentalists, etc., since this production will somewhat be a musical. choreographers may also apply. this is open to all who have been a part of fyc present and past, so you college-aged folks can get in on this. more info will be posted as it becomes available.

-anybody out there who remembers fyc’s Know History, Know Self conference who would like to help us bring it back, please contact an fyc staff member.

that’s about it. please help us out by spreading the word to your clubs and to other schools. if any of this interests you, send out an email to me at jeff.agustin@gmail.com. thank you and good night/morning/day.

Milpitas High P.U.S.O read this and make sure you take not on the possible changed that will be made with this year’s Battle of the Tribes. We recommend that you go and voice your opinion or concern or whatever by going to this week’s Tuesday night Activities.
